The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival takes place in Indio, California on the weekends of April 10-12 and April 17-19. The event, synonymous with summertime, is a desert fest that kicks off its 16th year with thousands of people in attendance.

Creating A Functional Entryway!

In a perfect world, every home would have a spacious mudroom with bench seating and abundance of storage options. Unfortunately, few homes enjoy such a convenience. This doesn't mean you can't make the most of your entryway. You can create a mini mudroom-like environment that is organized yet neat. You want your kids to be able to find what they need and get out the door for the bus in a hurry, but you also don't want to cringe and make excuses for the mess every time guests walk through the door.

Hang Your Precious Posters & Artwork!

Do you have a place in your attic or closet where you keep rolled up posters and artwork from the kids? I wish I were organized enough to have them all in one place. Some are under the kids' beds, in closets, and who knows where else. I have some artwork from the kids that are too large for their memory box, but I wouldn't even think to part with those precious memories. So, this coming year, I've made a New Year's resolution to hang these amazing pieces of art up on my walls. A few weeks ago, my son purchased a video game and received a poster with it, I know that poster is somewhere in his closet. He has commented to me a few times how cool the poster is and how much he likes it. I know he would be thrilled to see it up on his bedroom wall.
