Hey everyone! I've been dying to share some exciting news with you! Guess founder and denim legend Georges Marciano, recently launched GM–Georges Marciano, a new line of apparel and denim, and I was lucky enough to get my hands on a pair of these awesome jeans! Yes! They are everything I had hoped they would be!
As you know, Georges Marciano blew us away with Guess jeans, and I can see the new collection of handmade jeans will be no different. The label consists of shirtings, vests, T-shirts, skirts and dresses, and three denim categories: vintage, classic and colored. The denim has an American feel inspired by the early ’80s, yet is contemporary enough to appeal to everyone! You'll see what I mean below.
I've been wearing my Marciano jeans out and about for the last week or so, and they get a high score for holding flawless shape after a long day of touring two college campuses with my daughter, and spending roughly three hours on the road. They have a nice, tight fit around the hips and behind, and these skinnies fit like a glove, hugging the length of my legs snuggly, yet comfortably. The feel of the fabric is crisp and the medium-dark wash is clean and refined. Attention to details on the pockets, hem and side seams, are apparent with the thick and durable thread stitching.
