The YOU Wave Ultra features two tourmaline ceramic coated barrels that protect your hair while creating fabulous waves. It's so easy! The You Wave Ultra styler is ready to go in 30 seconds. I use the YOU Wave Ultra on the highest setting. My hair is course and thick, so the high setting works best on my hair. If you have finer hair, you might want to first try the medium or low setting. Next, I separate my hair into three parts: upper, middle and lower sections. Beginning with the lower portion of hair, I place a section of my hair between the wave plates, press and hold it a few seconds. I repeat the process as I move down the strand of my hair. It took me about 10 minutes from start to finish to create the look below. Note: The longer you press and hold the styler, the greater the wave. Later, after my hair cooled, I brushed my hair and added a bit of mousse to create a softer wave. If you want to keep the wave tighter, comb your fingers through your hair instead of using a brush.

Conair has also included important safety features with their YOU Wave Ultra styler. Aside from the terrific stay-cool tip at the end of the barrel, the styler also features an automatic 60 minute shut off. I have forgotten to turn off styling irons in the past, so I appreciate this feature.
