Put Your Best Face Forward In The New Year! {Review & GIVEAWAY!}

Are you ready to start the new year off looking great? Well, before you run out and buy an assortment of new cosmetics, you need to first start with clean, smooth skin. If you live in a climate with colder temperatures, you know that a few weeks into winter, skin can become dull and dry from the harsh cold outside and the dry heat inside. Even applying the good moisturizer doesn't always do the trick. So...what can you do?

A few weeks ago I was given the wonderful opportunity to try Conair's Power Facial Cleanser which consists of two attachments (a facial brush and facial sponge). The brush is designed for deep cleansing and the sponge offers a more gentle exfoliation. After using the Power Facial Cleanser for the very first time, I noticed that my skin was instantly smoother and had a nice, healthy glow. Every night since, I use a dime size amount of my cream foaming cleanser (see below) and move the facial brush in a circular motion around my face, being careful to avoid the eye area. I do this for approximately two minutes and then rinse with warm water. I then add a moisturizer to the sponge attachment and apply it in a circular motion just as I did with the facial brush. I feel as if my moisturizer works better than ever. I'm guessing it is because the rotating brush is removing dead skin cells that were not allowing my skin is able to absorb the moisturizer. 

After using Conair's Power Facial Cleanser for the last few weeks, it has become part of my daily regimen and I couldn't imagine being without it! Its like having a professional-style facial in the privacy of my own home.  

Reflections Home Vanity Collection 

Now that my skin is healthier and smoother, I can apply my makeup flawlessly too! Conair was kind enough to let me review their lighted Reflection Home Vanity Mirror.  I no longer need to lean over to get an inch away from the mirror to see my face close-up. Applying make-up is so much easier. Conair's two-sided lighted mirror is fog-free mirror and has a regular mirror one one side and a 7x magnification on the other side. I love the magnified side! The magnified mirror makes it sooo easy to pluck eyebrows and apply eyeliner.  I never knew how much I was missing. The mirror also has a very convenient on/off cord switch only inches from the base and provides a bright, white lighting (not blinding by any means) on both sides of the mirror. I'm not more confident that my makeup looks great in all types of lighting (sunlight, office lighting, home lighting), and even close-up! 

The Power Facial Cleanser and Reflections Vanity Mirror are great products and a terrific way to put your best face forward in the new year. I can't think of a better way to start than with a healthy glow and a flawless makeup application! Thank you, Conair!
