When building my home, I knew I wanted plenty of natural light and never stopped to think of the need for blinds on weekend mornings when I want to sleep in longer. In my search for blinds, I realized many windows in my home are not standard size. Many homes built in the 70s and 80s also feature odd-shaped windows, as that was a popular home design trend. While an oddly-shaped window can add a lot of charm to your home, it can also prove very challenging when it comes time to choose a window treatment. Odd-shaped windows come in all sizes and shapes as they can be triangular, round, arched or even pencil-like.
