I live in a small town where the nearest grocery store or shopping mall is a 15 minute drive away. It’s not that far of a drive, but when I am running low on milk or out of cheese on taco night, Dollar General is always there to save the day. They seem to have whatever I need and are only a few minutes down the road from my house. From household items, birthday cards and gift supplies, health and beauty products, you will find it at Dollar General. In fact, when my daughter was heading off to college, she realized we forgot to buy removable wall hooks and sure enough, Dollar General had that too.
I’ve only recently discovered that Dollar General has a great collection of clothing available in the apparel section of their stores. When I visited my DG store this weekend, I found a slew of incredibly priced must-have pieces for fall. I must admit I was surprised to find trendy and stylish clothing that my kids would wear. Thankfully, they usually like my taste in clothing, so I picked up a few items for my son and daughter.
My favorite find is the awesome jacket I found for my son (see below). He’s a stinker when it comes to bundling up on chilly days, but this jacket is so warm, soft and cozy, I know it will be his new ‘go to’ as he heads out the door. He looks great in plaid and there’s something about a man in plaid that exudes a masculine vibe, especially in fall and winter.
