Billion Dollar Brows Universal Brow Pencil {Review}

Today I am reviewing billion dollar brows’ Universal Brow Pencil. The description on the box states that the specially formulated pencil will match all eyebrow shades, hence the word “universal” in its title, so it’s time to put the “one color fits all” claim to the test!

After taking the pencil out of its packaging for the first time, I noticed that it was a good size. It’s very equivalent to the size of other popular brow pencils on the market right now. The pencil is double-sided: one side with the colored product, and the other with a spoolie brush. In my opinion, spoolies are ESSENTIAL for brow products, because it makes it so much easier to blend out the product and adjust how much of it you want to be distributed in each area. The product end of the pencil is crayon-like and retractable, which is a great feature because you never have to actually sharpen it, but can just simply twist up when you need more product.

Alright, I confess! I will often find myself searching through my teenage daughter’s closet looking for something to wear. As I look through her colorful assortment of sleeveless tops and bodycon dresses, I am secretly hoping to find one that will fit me well!  Unfortunately, I usually leave her room disappointed. I'm finding that the younger, trendier styles are getting more and more difficult to pull off, and I ask myself if what I am wearing is age appropriate. I am not exactly saying I need to wear “grandma” clothes. After all, my mother is 77 years young and dresses very fashionably. I was lucky enough to get to try a top and skirt from Covered Perfectly! The Simple Comfort top I reviewed is seriously super soft and silky! It is made from a fabric I was completely unaware even existed, called MicroModal®! The fiber is unique in that it is made of European beechwood and is completely natural and breathable. Its quality and heavenly softness are even guaranteed! When I first felt the fabric, I had that "WOW" moment! I just love the way it feels against my skin and I want this top in every color! There are 13 colors in all!

The Covered Perfectly Pencil Skirt is a classic wardrobe staple all its own. It is lightweight and versatile enough to take me from day to night with little effort. Just like the Simple Comfort top, my skirt is a great foundation piece for my day-to-day wardrobe basics. Another plus...I found that even in temps close to 90 degrees in Cancun, the skirt and top both felt breathable and comfy!

It is hard to believe my daughter (my baby) is graduating from high school already. It seems like only a short time ago she entered the world and now the world is her canvas! Time flew by too fast. It has been a brutal winter for many of us, but the good news is that spring break is just around the corner! In just a few weeks, many people will be packing their shades, flip flops, & swimsuits and heading south to warm and sunny destinations!  

I recently escaped the bitter cold temps while on a business/pleasure trip to Florida. I must admit that when I started planning the getaway, I was a bit worried about slipping into a swimsuit so soon after the holidays. Thankfully, I received a Magicsuit swimsuit just days before leaving on my trip! 

When I first opened my package from Magicsuit, it was love at first sight (and feel)! The swimsuit is absolutely gorgeous and silky soft. It also gives me the coverage I want (and need) in both the front and back! The fit is amazing and the bold red floral pattern on black looks ultra sophisticated too! And the plunging neckline...LOVE!
